MORNING POWER UP SMOOTHIE
First of all - I'm still sick? So that's cool. Which is why I'm just over here pounding water and tea and shooting everything.
I realized this morning that's it's been a while since I've given you guys one of my protein smoothie recipes. I pretty much stick to some of the same ingredients on a daily basis whether it's in a smoothie, or just dumped into my Earl Grey Tea.
The energy that some of these adaptogens and superfoods provide is INSANE. It's never a jittery feeling, it's just like you feel focused and feel like you don't have a sliver of ADD for the first time in your life. And it's all natural.
I pack that in every morning (and usually afternoon too, lol and sometimes night to be honest, because I like to operate at a seriously high level of FOCUSED all day, everyday). If I go a day, or God forbid TWO days without at least one of my secret weapons...Forget about it. I feel like I'm slow as fuck.
I like forget how to do math in my head and where the keys on my keyboard are so it's not great.
Here is one of my most energizing protein shakes. I suggest having this if you are in a rush in the am and don't have time to cook, or after a TOUGH workout so that you don't get that foggy brain feeling.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

+ 1 1/2 cups Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
+ 1 Scoop of your favorite Plant Protein (I use MRM-USA plant based protein - Chocolate for this one)
+ 1 TBSP Further Foods Collagen
+ 1 Large handful of Spinach
+ 1 Heaping TBSP Maca Root
+ 1 Packet Four Sigmatic Mushroom Powder
+ 1 TBSP Flax Seeds (I like the roasted ones, they give you more of a nutty flavor).
+ 1/2 TBSP Cacao Nibs (Not pictured)
+ 2 Ice Cubes
