ROSEMARY GIN COCKTAIL

BECAUSE DUH

A table full of appetizers and friends is NOT complete in my book until there is something PERFECT to just sip on.

This cocktail is perfect for anyone that loves gin, appreciates a little more than a vodka soda but isn't a 5 star hotel cocktail-lounge-bartender.

You get me?

Val and I picked up some Bombay before we spent all Sunday at her house cooking and listening to John Mayer (PERFECTION). Then we figured it was only appropriate that it makes the fall blog.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

- GIN (WE USED BOMBAY SAPHIRE)

- SODA WATER

- FRESH GINGER

- LEMON

- ROSEMARY

INSTRUCTIONS:

1.

MUDDLE A LITTLE BIT (OR A LOT) OF GINGER, DEPENDING ON HOW SPICY YOU WANT IT, & ADD IT TO YOUR GLASS.

(I DON'T MIND THE PIECES OF GINGER IN THERE BUT IF IT BOTHERS YOU, THEN MIX ALL THE INGREDIENTS TOGETHER IN A SEPARATE GLASS, THEN STRAIN IT INTO YOUR COCKTAIL GLASS).

2.

MEASURE OUT 1.5 OUNCES OF GIN (OR 3 OUNCES IF YOU WANT A DOUBLE SHOT)

3.

ADD A FEW SPLASHES OF SODA WATER AND A SQUEEZE OF LEMON.

4.

TOP WITH ICE AND GARNISH WITH A LEMON WHEEL AND ROSEMARY.
