I am a certified health coach, a fitness enthusiast and a health and wellness blogger, energized on a plant-based diet. As I move into my passion of health coaching I’m noticing that there’s not many health coaches out there as of right now that are my age who can CONNECT with young women.

I think that health is becoming more important to people at a younger age and I’m absolutely obsessed with talking to the demographic of 20 to 35 year olds out there who are craving the knowledge of understanding what to eat and how to stay energized throughout the day with their super busy lifestyles.

I have been adjusting my diet to my busy lifestyle over the last 4 years and now feel like I’m in a place where I can give you a list of tips, tricks and recipes for eating healthy, energizing foods that are cheap and efficient!

If you want a little background…

I wasn’t always like this.

I grew up playing sports and eating whateverrrrr I wanted. I ate tons of meat, cheese, brownies, bread, you name it. I never knew there was a correlation between my energy and the foods I ate, or the way my skin looked, or even the way my body looked.

Since I was so active, I never payed attention to my body. It just was what it was, which was slim and fit. As soon as I stopped playing soccer and continued to eat the way I was eating, I found myself 15 pounds heavier and 3 pant sizes bigger, crying in a mirror as I tried on bathing suits. I didn’t understand how I gained weight let alone how to get it OFF. I became over overwhelmed, unconfident, and INCREDIBLY LAZY.

From here I went on a roller coaster. I got back in the gym and cut out simple carbs and noticed weight loss. Then I became addicted to that and got a prescription to adderall. I ate this like candy for 3 months and dropped an additional 15 pounds. I was experiencing constant headaches, mood swings, sleep paralysis, lock jaw, exhaustion, and was developing a severely unhealthy relationship with food.

But I didn’t care. I was too addicted to my weight loss and the way I looked that I made it okay for me to be the most unhealthy version of myself to get there. After three months of this and a talk with my Dad, I decided to get off the pills, which led to a 25 pound weight gain…MORE THAN WHAT I WANTED TO LOSE TO BEGIN WITH.

I Felt Lazier Than Ever And COMPLETELY Unmotivated.

My friends had to drag me out of the house and basically beg me to go to the gym with them. It was honestly a really horrible time but also a huge turning point. I knew that I could get back on the pills and look the way I wanted to, but be VERY unhealthy, or I could take the harder, healthier route, and build habits that I could keep forever.

I chose the latter, and it led me to this point.

There was a lot of trial and error in between then and now like, taking meat out of my diet and then removing things like egg yolks and whey protein. Then deciding that I wanted to stop obsessing over counting calories and start focusing on the INGREDIENTS that were in the foods I was eating.

Anyway – I’m here to guide you through all the right steps to get you where YOU want to be. Let’s break free from those unhealthy habits, and establish deep-rooted healthy life style changes that will change your life.

I think an understanding that there is no quick fix was a huge part of this program for me.

Understanding That If I Were To Go On One Of Those Get Slim Quick Diets That Sure It’d Probably Work But I’d Gain It All Back If I Didn’t Change My Habits.

Changing my relationship with food was HUGE. I had this conversation with Chelsey a couple of weeks ago “it’s not that I’m never going to eat a hot Cheeto again. It’s that I am now able to have a couple and not hate myself for it afterwards.” It’s now that I’m able to recognize food for what it is not – NOT a stress reliever, NOT an emotional crutch. It’s fuel for my body and that has made a huge difference in my life.

I don’t know what the hell happened but I stepped on the scale today and I’m down 17 pounds!!

I worked with Chelsey Rose for two consecutive coaching cycles of 90 days each. I’ve spent half a year with her I suppose, and I would LOVE to spend another half a year 🙂 Chelsey has been an absolute JOY, to say the least. She has changed so much for me in the way I look at my relationship to health.

I Am Way More Conscious Of Not Just What I Am Eating/Putting In My Body/How I Am Moving Or Treating My Body – But The “WHY” Of All Of These Things – Which, I Believe Is The Key To Making Real Changes In Your Life.

She firmly understands that each of us are so different from another. She is always there with whatever you may need – a pep talk, a recipe, an extra session. I swear, I don’t know how she has the energy to give so much to all her clients and herself, but she does – and she never made me feel like I came second. On another note, she is incredible punctual – which is a rarity in LA. It’s very professional, and she takes such pride in what she does.

There is NO doubt in my mind that this woman will accomplish ALL that she wants in this life! Talk about drive! She is one of the most driven women I have ever met while maintaining this humbling quality that we all feel comfortable to just “hang out” with. She will ALWAYS tell you like it is, mixed with the natural understanding that life is not “black and white.” Everyone has ups and downs, lack of motivation etc. She makes you feel normal for your mistakes – because she’s so normal – well – besides her PERFECT body haha! But, she works hard on it – and makes it seem so fun while doing so. I have fallen for Chelsey and her coaching ways!

Her natural and kind approach at helping you find what works for you and reaching your personal health goals has sold me! She will go at your pace. You wanna take baby steps at a goal, she is down.
